wow!! 5 look-alike brothers who have played for different countries....

There are some football stars who are blood related but have chosen to play or have played for different football national teams.
Here, we look at players falls in this category.
1. Jerome and Kevin-Prince Boateng (Germany and Ghana)

In the history of the FIFA World Cup tournaments, these two brothers are so far the only to have faced each other as Jerome played for Germany while Prince featured for Ghana national team.

At the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Germany and Ghana met in which Jerome and his team mates helped Germany to beat Ghana 1 – 0 in the group stages. Both brothers also faced themselves again in the 2014 FIFA World Cup which ended 2 – 2.




2. Rafinha and Tiago Alcantara (Brazil and Spain)

These two players are the sons of great Mazinho of Brazil, but Rafinha who is the younger brother preferred to play for Brazil national team while Tiago who plays for Bayern Munich chose to wear the colours of the Spanish national team.
3. Paul Pogba and Mathias Pogba (France and Guinea)
It would be nice to know that the current Manchester United star Paul Pogba has a twin brother who is also a footballer playing for Guinea.
Paul is currently featuring for the French national team, while his brother Mathias chose to stay put and play for their country of birth Guinea.
4. Christian and Max Vieri (Italy and Australia)
Christian Vieri was born in Italy, and his parent took him to Australia at a tender age where Max was giving birth to.
Both players however chose to represent their countries of birth with the former playing for Italy while the ladder represented Australia.
5. John and Archie Goodall England and Northern Ireland
John Goodall who is the elder brother was born in London and the player chose to play for English national team while his younger brother who was born in Belfast chose the other way round as he represented Northern Ireland.
