Quite a lot of people were left in shock after two men were caught red-handed having sex with a 10-year-old boy in broad daylight in Kano.
The Cable reports that the two men, Labaran Abdullahi, 25, and Sani Umar, 35, who reside in Tudun Rubudi Kurnan Asabe Quarters Kano, have been arraigned before a Magistrates’ Court in Kano on Friday, October 28, for this abominable act. They are facing a two-count charge of unnatural offence and public nuisance.
The duo were caught by one Sagir Muhammad and two members of Vigilante Group attached to Bachirawa Quarters around 11pm having anal intercourse with the 10-year-old boy. The prosecutor said that the victim was rushed to Waziri Shehu Gidado Hospital Kano for treatment. He said the offence contravened sections 284 and 183 of the penal code.
The two suspects however pleaded not guilty to the charges. The Chief Magistrate, Ibrahim Khaleel ordered that the two men be remanded in prison custody and adjourned the case to November 29, for hearing.
